I got a Bachelor degree in Chemistry and Chemical Technologies and a Master degree in Chemistry at the University of Turin. In the last years I have been a researcher in the field of computational chemistry under the Horizon2020 project SOCRATES at the University of Bonn, Germany, where I got my PhD in Chemistry. During my work, I encountered the challenge to organize and describe large amount of data, and took quite some interest in it; since the focus of my studies had never been on this topic, I decided to enroll in this Master to complete my training on Big Data and Data Mining. In my spare time I like cooking, playing board and role-play games, and climbing.

I am 25 and I come from a small town near Turin. After earning a bachelor's degree in Psychology, with a thesis in psychometrics on a data analysis technique, I specialized in Criminal and Forensic Psychology at the University of Turin. I have always been fascinated by data analysis and research methodologies in the psychosocial field and, after a brief collaboration with a private research foundation, I decided to deepen my knowledge in data management and analysis. I then applied for the master in Big Data Analytics to obtain some technical skills to study human phenomena from a quantitative point of view so to try to understand the complexity of the world around us.

I graduated in Computer Engineering at the Politecnico di Torino, with a thesis on Machine Learning applied to Big Data. I immediately found a job at a company in the data analysis field, offering technological support to the data scientist team and involved in projects for the implementation, development and automation of procedures for Data Integration, Transformation and Visualization as well as the organization of the data infrastructure. Afterwards I thought it was appropriate to learn in deep the topics of Big Data by enrolling in this postgraduate master, in order to develop new skills in the field that fascinates me the most and in which I would like to find work opportunities.
